Materials and Structure. Conservation problems is a review dedicateci to the research of themes of restoration and conservation with particular, yet not exclusive, reference to the architecture of the past. Specific attention is given to the aspects of materiai and technology that characterize the realities of building and art in generai. These aspects are treated both from a quantitative scientific point of view as well as exploring any possible theoretical implications and the wider historical-critical perspective.

The contribution of different expertise, coherently with the multidisciplinary nature of resto ration, is particularly welcome, especially if there is a correlation between this and a deep lying knowledge of the project and of the generai intricacies of its relevant conservation problems.
